Thanks to an invitation from French freestyle trial rider Chris Bruand (dust-show.com), I got an amazing opportunity to perform in Germany, in Dortmund, at the Flic Flac X-Mas show. This is an annual traditional event that attracts thousands of spectators from the surrounding area each time.

Our collaboration planning started already in August. We came up with the idea to create a joint performance with French parkour artist Baptiste Ozannat. So, in September, I took advantage of my trip to France, where I was participating in the Team World Championships. After the competition ended, I went to Chris's residence, where we met with Baptiste and wanted to practice the entire performance for Germany. The following weekend, I was also supposed to go for an exhibition performance in France instead of Chris. Unfortunately, about fifteen minutes into the training, I clipped my shin on a peg while stepping off, which caused a fairly deep laceration. I ended up in the hospital, where they treated me. The result was ten external and three internal stitches. After several days of convalescence, I had to return to the Czech Republic, and we postponed the training of the performance until we met again in Germany, this time just a week before the start of the show.

The performances themselves took place from December 14, 2023, to January 7, 2024, with one to three shows occurring each day. The entire program of a single performance lasted approximately two hours and included performances by top athletes and artists from around the world. Thus, our four-minute act was part of this packed schedule. In total, we completed 54 performances, which was very demanding both physically and mentally.

Overall, this experience was amazing. I met a whole range of interesting people from various corners of the world. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate and must say that I am quite proud that we managed the entire show without any additional injuries. 😊 The high attendance also sparked excitement - the arena, with a capacity of 1500 seats, was almost full for all performances.

A few shots from our performance can be seen in the following video:

Erfurter Weihnachtscircus

At the end of the year, I performed at the Erfurter Weihnachtscircus in Germany, a modern Christmas show full of various sports and extreme performances. It was physically and mentally demanding work, and I also went through a virus during that time, but in the end everything worked out – I managed the contract without injuries and with plenty of valuable experiences.

Fort Fun 2025

I experienced another summer full of performances at Germany’s Fort Fun Abenteuerland — this time for the second time, and once again in collaboration with the Italian team Folco. However, the original train-themed Western show was transformed into a new, action-packed steampunk show called Circus Mechanica, right in the middle of the park so more people could see it. We spent 51 days on site nonstop, doing up to three shows a day. It was hard work, but it was worth it.
